Advanced Executive Protection
This course is fast-paced and not for beginners.You must be currently working in the Executive Protection field, Law Enforcement or Security to attend this course. The material and techniques presented in this course are taught at an intermediate / advanced level and students should already be familiar with tactical first aid, firearms, advancing, protection details and unarmed self defense/martial arts. Physical fitness is conducted each morning; therefore students are expected to be in good physical condition when attending this course.

Day 1 (Saturday)

Executive Protection Attack Scenarios (Panic Attack)
This class focuses on various detail formations from one-on-one to the four man diamond and covers escape / evacuation drills while under attack / fire. This class utilizes air soft or simunitions while putting the student in the stress of operating in the "Kill Zone". Students are evaluated on working under high stress and getting the client out of the kill zone and to safety in a quick and effective manner.

Advancing
One of the most important jobs of the EP agent is Advancing. Emphasis is placed on proper advancing techniques in "Sanitizing" or making the environment safe in preparation for the clients arrival. Students are taken through and evaluated on a variety of advancing drills on location.

Emergency Tactical First Aid
This class covers all aspects of emergency tactical first aid for the EP agent and includes hands-on training in CPR, Mouth-to-Mouth Resuscitation, Broken Bones, Splints, Dressing Wounds, Head Trauma, Gun Shot Wounds, Knife Wounds, Victim Transport and Evacuation, and more. Certificate awarded upon completion of this course.

Tactical Shooting and Special Weapons Training - Part 1

Taught by firearms expert and author of "Defensive Handgun" Mark "Six" James. State Certified and NRA Certified Firearms Instructor. President/CEO of Panther Protection Services:
Course length: 8 hours (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) Participants registration 8:00 - 8:30 (House Keeping)
Executive Protection Firearms Training/Close Quarter Engagement
This course is designed to enhance your personal defensive firearm and combatives skills while protecting a client. The course is not designed for beginners. It will introduce the participants to reality based situations they may face in their day to day protective environment. The majority of the training will be done from concealment as that is the way EP Agents typically work. Some of the topics we will potentially cover are:

This is up close and personal training designed to help increase your ability to survive a deadly force encounter and increase your ability to defend the life of a client or team member. What you will need:
Requirements: Pistol (bring the handgun you normally carry for protective services); concealment holster (no shoulder holsters please); 3 magazines; magazine holders; cover garment (open front and close front), edged weapon (knife) or impact flashlight, ear and eye protection. Knee and elbow pads are optional.
Note: All firearms and ammunition will be provided by IAEPA
Additional Considerations: Bring your lunch, water, Gatorade etc.

This course will focus on tactical operations using Shotgun, AK-47, AR-15 and Carbine weapons.

Advanced Close Quarter Combat
Lead Instructor: Dr. Leonard C. Holifield (10th Degree Red Belt)
Taught by former U.S Army Chief Combatives Instructor Leonard Holifield. This class will cover advanced unarmed self defense techniques. This class is not for beginners and students should have a working knowledge of unarmed self defense / martial arts.

This class involves hands-on training, detection and recognition of various IED's (Improvised Explosive Devices) and other explosive devices used today. This course will address what to look for, how to identify, and how to handle an IED situation as an EP agent. Note: This class involves practical exercises and booby traps (Don't get blown up)!

Time, Space and Distance

Ever ask yourself how you would react in the event your client is attacked? Can I get to my client in time? Can I get to the attacker in time? This unique course answers these questions while focusing in on the psyche of the protection agent, and using Time, Space and Distance to his advantage.

Vehicle Gun Fighting
This course is designed to enhance your situational awareness and build effective firearm and combative skills while engaging a threat in and around your vehicle. We teach you tactical considerations for escaping or engaging. This is an intermediate level course and is not designed for beginners. We teach you how to fight from in, around or under your vehicle. We will introduce the participants to reality based situations they may face in their day-to-day environment.
This is up close and personal training designed to help increase your ability to survive a deadly force encounter and increase your ability to defend your life, that of a client or team member within the context of a vehicle.

Effective Ground Fighting / Grappling
This course will cover effective grappling and ground-fighting techniques used to subdue your
attacker quickly and effectively should an unavoidable confrontation go to the ground.
Day 13 (Thursday)

Electronic Surveillance & Countermeasures
Also called ‘debugging’ or ‘sweeping’. These terms refer to the procedure for locating covert
(hidden) surveillance devices in the office, home, phone lines, etc. This course will cover the
current techniques and equipment used to locate, identify and defeat these devices.

Final Examination, Certification, Graduation
On the last day, students will undergo an extensive physical and practical examination. Upon
completion of the examination, students will receive certification.
