Two Day Church Security Program

The IAEPA Ministry of Defense Church Security Program covers those security issues that are unique to the church, its members, its environment and its pastor. This course is highly recommended for church staff and churches interested in forming or enhancing the training of their in-house security team which may or may not already be in place. Students who sucessfully graduate this course will earn special church security credentials and the CSS (Church Security Specialist) designation.

Day 1

Church Violence in the U.S.

• Traditional Mind Set vs. Proper Mind-Set
• The Security Team
• Working with LE and other Security Teams
• Threat Analysis
• Travel and Advancing
• Bomb Threats
• Safe House/Room
• Christian Hate Groups
• Non Lethal Weapons
• Mail Inspection / Screening
• Emergency First Aid

DAY 2

Pastorial Protection Plan

• Congregation Security
• Special Event Security
• Sunday School Security
• Senior Citizen Security
• Emergency Evacuation Plan
• Practical Drills & Exercises
• Unarmed Self Defense
• Offering Protection
• Physical Security
• Vehicle and Parking Lot Security

Upon successful completion of this course, student will receive a Certificate of Training, CSS (Church Security Specialist) Designation. Example: John Smith, CSS and Photo ID Card Credentials. Note: Student should bring two official passport size photos (Suit & Tie).

COST: Two Day Church Security Training Course
$599.00 - per/student

Churches interested in the Ministry of Defense security program may request this course to be taught on-site at your location for two days. The hosting church will provide the following:

Travel Expenses and Lodging
Classroom w/Projector and Screen
Transportation to and from Airport
